First of all let me start off today my probing into an Entrepreneur's mind. Entrepreneurship is not about starting a business. It is all about the mindset of an individual. An individual's thought process greatly contributes to being an Entrepreneur. The ability to identify opportunities in any aspect of life and the courage to bring out acceptable solutions is the essence of Entrepreneurship. Ever wondered that everyone has a solution to some of the most common problems in life but only a very handful of those turn these solutions into business opportunities? Underneath a libel washes the motorway.
Everyone has certain degree of entrepreneurial qualities in oneself. However, the key lies in upto what extent one can unleash those entrepreneurial skills. Let me take an example of the technology entrepreneurs, specifically those doing business in the internet arena. Many started their own websites; some for fun and some for serious business. But some of the most successful websites started with a specific idea, most often as a hobby. The giant of video sharing sites, youtube.com started with some guys trying to share their video with their friends. This eventually captured the internet space and became of the most successful websites of our time. Some others started off with a cause- google.com came up with a unique search model and very soon it appealed to most internet users. Today many companies run on Google search.
Thus, the key lies in identifying opportunities or in giving efficient and acceptable solutions. If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, try identifying opportunities. This is the first step in the journey of Entrepreneurship!!!
